Recently I visited one of the Exhibitions in Mumbai and saw tremendous number of shell scheme exhibition stalls using the same old shabby posters on walls, a branding on reception counter and most of all empty stalls with visitors eager to get anything free. There has been great number of people and good stalls executed too, however shell scheme stalls were all without anything to attract target audience.

I remembered when we started participating in Exhibitions, We were participating to gain good exposure of our brand and products. We were highly excited to participate and most of all confident for our participation. We had no planning nothing, just thought our products will stand out on its own and Brand will be projected by its own means. With just a stall space of 9 square meter we had designed some posters to be stuck to the walls , taken additional counters for our products and a sitting arrangement.

When the exhibition did open we realized its not at all we planned for and ended up distributing our brochures and cards, but none of our target audience captured. Today when I look back, I realize the what mistakes we made and what we did later to make shell scheme stall stand out..

We did research of various options in the market for our next participation. We did realize there are various options available that could make a shell scheme stall look attractive. We created various combination of the Hanger Banner and Magnetic Popup for our year on exhibition in various structure as to have different layout for each expo and created highly professional structures in spite of budget constraint and limited space in the stall
